What do goji's grow on?

The goji tree is mostly found in the Himalayan areas, found in many other areas of Asia, with Western China, Mongolia and Tibet. Goji the latest wonder medicinal plant is a Himalayan shrub that grows to a height of 8 to 10 feet extensively grown in Tibet and Mongolia. The plant bears tiny flowers with purple or blue color and red colored fruit. The fruit that is sweet in flavor can be consumed raw, fresh or dried. The leaves of the plant can be used in salads and drinks.
Goji Berries are mostly known as Lycium Barbarum or Chinese Wolfberry. The plants are deciduous, woody perennials and are very adjustable. They require lots of sun, and prefer climates that are hot and dry in the summer, but they will grow just about anywhere, including in humid climates. Goji plant can bear very cold winters, and it flourishes better in some areas than others. The fruits of the plant ie. goji berry has turned into popular food due to its medicinal qualities and high content of anti oxidants. This helps people all over the for treating life threatening diseases like cancer.
