2 Benefits of Eating Healthy

1. You can save money. With the cost of food rising almost as fast as the price of gas saving money wherever you can is important.  Eating healthy food that you cook  yourself can save you a lot of money. Buying pre-packaged foods or restaurant food gets expensive very quickly.  If you bring a healthy home cooked lunch to work each day instead of going out you can save anywhere from $50-$100 per week just on lunch!

2. You are what you eat.  Have you ever noticed that after you eat a greasy, starchy fast food meal at lunch time you immediately get sleepy and sluggish and have trouble concentrating? That’s because your body’s delicate systems are being flooded by fat, sugar, salt and other unhealthy things.  If you want to be healthy, you need to eat healthy. It’s just that simple.
