Join me for a nice cup of tea
There is a great deal of talk these days about one food or another preventing illness. Now, I do believe that a high intake of fruits and vegetables provide vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber which go a long way to preventing illnesses. But I also believe that stress is one of the prime causes of illness.
Have you ever had a really bad week? A week that drained you of all your fortitude? Then, by the end of the week, to make things worse, you come down with the sniffles or a sore throat.
In my opinion, it is stress that makes us sick and one of the best ways I know to alleviate stress is to take an herbal tea break. Now, I personally enjoy a wide variety of herbal teas, but one of my favorites is Goji Berry Tea.
To make a nice pot of Goji Berry Tea, pick your favorite tea pot, toss in a handful of dried Goji Berries and fill with boiling filtered water. Sit back, relax, de-stress and quietly enjoy your tea.
