A cold morning for hot oatmeal
A few weeks ago I showed you my packets of homemade instant oatmeal. It is great having them already made up in the cupboard. I wanted to show you how great a breakfast these make with the dried Goji Berries already in the mix. Its also handy to have for a snack before bed;
very satisfying, high fiber and low calorie too.
In case you missed it, here are the directions again.
I use a 1/4 cup rolled oats, a 1/4 cup oat bran, a 1/4 cup of dried goji berries, a pinch of salt and a bit of stevia. I store these in snack sized zipper bags and when I am ready for a hot bowl of oatmeal, I add 3/4 cup of filtered water and microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes.
