April is National SMILE Month!
I talked to your recently about Tryptophan and its role in feeling good. Here is a list of the foods highest in Tryptophan.
The over all highest food is dried Egg White powder! Now that doesn't sound very appetizing to me.
The highest cheese is Mozzarella.
The vegetable product is Spinach. UMMM I love spinach quiche.
The highest nut and seed product is Sesame seed flour. I haven't ever used this.. But the highest munchable seeds are pumpkin seeds.
The highest legume product is Soy protein isolate. All the other soy products also come in high. Try some Tofu!
The highest Cereal Grain and Pasta is Oat Bran. Great! I always mix Oat Bran with my Oatmeal for breakfast.
The highest finfish or shell fish is raw alaska king crab.. Hmmm..I will go for number 2 on the list - cooked shrimp!
The highest beverage is Chocolate Dairy Drink Mix. Hmmm.. Lots of chemicals in this, I prefer my 100% Goji Berry Juice
The highest Sweet is Dry Cocoa Powder.. is that even sweet? I will stick with my 85% cocoa dark chocolate bar.
The hightest fruit listed with NutritionData.com is the Apricot at 87mg per 100gm. They don't list Goji Berries, but my information shows our Goji Berries top that at 100mg per 100gm!
So, fix yourself an omlette with egg whites, fill with some spinach and top with some mozzarella cheese. Have a glass of Goji Berry Juice, and SMILE!
